Description: POST-DOCTORAL FELLOW POSITIONS are available to join the neurorehabilitation research group of Professor Keh-chung Lin, School of Occupational Therapy at National Taiwan University, for those interested in rehabilitation, psychometrics, biomechanics, biomarkers, or brain imaging. The successful candidates will be involved in collaborative research projects for interdisciplinary, translational research. Major components of the work include research and publication of neurological rehabilitation trials, psycho- and clini-metric study, and mechanisms study in biomechanics, neuroimaging, or biomarkers. Topics of research may include instrument evaluations, study of beneficial and adverse effects of treatment interventions, use of motor analysis or muscle function testing, and study of stroke-related biomarkers. The projects assigned to the fellows will be determined based on the background and interests of the fellows. There will be opportunities to attend conferences and publish research papers. Additional stipends are available.
Requirements: A doctoral degree in areas related to Rehabilitation Sciences or Physical and Occupational Therapy, Motor Control, Movement Science, Biomechanics, Psychometrics, Psychology, or Biophysiology. Fluency in English is needed for purposes of research dissemination.
Payments: The hired fellows will be paid in accord with the standards of the Ministry of Science and Technology in Taiwan with competitive benefits.
